The Tennessee Titans are in need of a playmaker on offense in a big way to complement players like running back Derrick Henry and wide receiver Corey Davis.
It looks like their rumored interest in acquiring Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown is coming to a close despite speculation.
The news came was brought to the surface on Thursday, and ESPN's Dianna Russini said this on “NFL Live.”
“The Titans are no longer interested in pursuing a trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers for Antonio Brown, the wide receiver whose elite talent has drawn the interest of several teams around the league but whose off-field baggage has caused hesitation.”
The Titans have the potential to be a solid team, but the pieces simply have not fallen into place and quarterback Marcus Mariota's struggles have been a huge part of the team's woes.
