The moment Tennessee Titans fans have been waiting for has finally arrived. Star running back Derrick Henry is set to be activated off the injured reserve list after over two months on the sidelines.
According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the Titans are expected to make the move to active Derrick Henry less than a day before their Divisional playoff clash against the Cincinnati Bengals.
“11 weeks after surgery to repair the fifth metatarsal, the broken bone in his foot, it's just amazing that he hasn't even been activated yet from injury reserve. That is expected to happen today. So for the Tennessee Titans who have been preparing for Derrick Henry's return, it is all going to happen today. Got through the week of practice with no setbacks at all. It is all but officially official.”

The news doesn't come as a shock to Titans fans, who have largely expected Derrick Henry's return for weeks now. There was even buzz that he could return for their Week 18 clash against the Houston Texans to get some run before the postseason.
But with the Titans able to secure the AFC top seed without him, securing the Wild Card bye in the process, Derrick Henry has been allowed to take the scenic route towards getting back on the field.
It's finally time, folks. King Henry is back.
