The longer it's been, the sweeter it becomes.
There's no question fans of the New England Patriots have been put into another class of spoiled as of late. The same could be said about the Dallas Cowboys during the early 1990s, the New York Yankees of the late 1990s, and the Pittsburgh Steelers of the 1970s, just to name a few. A certain sort of righteousness and belief that winning is the only thing that'll happen starts to take hold of a fanbase.
But when long droughts are suddenly snapped, hardcore emotions tend to pour out. First the Boston Red Sox, then the Chicago Cubs, and now, the Philadelphia Eagles. One such example of raw emotion spilling over came to us live on-air as a Tulsa sports news anchor couldn't control himself upon visualizing his Eagles knocking off Tom Brady and the Pats in Super Bowl 52.
That moment I surprised @HaroldRKuntz3 on air that his beloved @Eagles finally won the #SuperBowl . Congrats man! #FlyEaglesFly pic.twitter.com/LnoEoJaIJ5

Thanks to a tweet from Scott Pfeil @scottpfeil, News on 6 sports anchor Harold R. Kuntz out of Tulsa, Oklahoma was overcome with pure joy when the program quickly swooped in to move him from the Oklahoma City Thunder-Los Angeles Lakers game to the live final of Super Bowl 52.
Obviously, despite his Tulsa location, Kuntz is an Eagles fan.
Due to his duties at the news station, he wasn't able to watch that final Hail Mary shot by Brady. Think about your team playing on the biggest stage with the entire world watching, yet you cannot watch. And, oh yeah, your team hasn't won a championship since 1960.
Go ahead and reach Harold. We understand.
