The Washington Football Team has had a tumultuous offseason off of the field and that's led to some of the team's partners to question the future of the franchise. Due to the event that have taken place this offseason, some minority owners of the team want Dan Snyder to sell the team, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Earlier this offseason, former female employees of Washington filed sexual harassment allegations on former employees of the organization. While Snyder's name wasn't mentioned by the accusers, he oversees the team's entire operations. As a result, some of the minority owners want him ousted.

On the other hand, despite the severity of the allegations, the NFL stated they wouldn't force Snyder to sell the franchise. At the same time, Snyder hasn't shown any intention of selling the team, formerly known as the “Redskins” any time soon. Therefore, it appears that Snyder and the minority owners are at odds moving forward.

Besides the sexual harassment allegations, Snyder is involved in a lawsuit right now. Nearly a week ago, it was revealed that Snyder was suing a media company due to defamation allegations.

The media company is named Media Entertainment Arts Worldwide. Within the site's recent content, they alleged that the Washington team owner was part of Jeffrey Epstein's inner circle. Epstein was a known sex offender that had relationships with wealthy individuals across the globe.

Even though the team has attempted to instill a new culture this offseason, they've continually had troubling incidents off of the gridiron. Provided that, minority owners are going to continue calling for Snyder's stake in the team to be sold.
