The NHL expansion draft took place on Wednesday night as the Seattle Kraken finally got to add some names to their roster. The city of Seattle was excited and so was the NHL after working for years to get a team in place.

Well, the Kraken got a special guest appearance from former Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch, who announced one of their picks.

Classic Marshawn Lynch.

The Seattle icon had to make his way to the expansion draft, and Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp also made an appearance at the expansion draft after cementing their legacy on the city as members of the Seattle SuperSonics.

Beast Mode never changes and still carries that quirky personality everywhere he goes, even with cameras in front of him as fans wait for him to announce the pick from the Kraken. He had some trouble pronouncing the name, but let's give him credit for doing his best and giving it a shot.

If anything, it provided some entertainment for the viewers.

The NHL season is set to kick off in October and the Kraken are set to join the Pacific Division and can finally put names to their rosters while showing off their gorgeous colorways for uniforms.
