The major announcement from beloved 90s and 2000s alt pop band No Doubt that they would be reuniting to play at Coachella later this year is sending fans into a tizzy on social media.

Following the playful social media post the band released just prior to Coachella's official unveiling of the news, fans are flocking to No Doubt's socials to express their approval of the first official reunion for the band since they stopped playing together publicly in 2015.

Formed in 1986, No Doubt — comprised of lead singer Gwen Stefani, bassist Tony Kanal, guitarist Tom Dumont and drummer Adrian Young — has a hardcore, loyal fan base, and that's certainly reflected in the comments pouring in.

“This is so EPIC!!!!!!” read one X/Twitter comment, while another gushed, “Omg. Now why was I just asking for a No Doubt reunion a month ago??? Did I manifest this??? 😍😍😍”

Other fans proclaimed thoughts like “I NEVER THOUGHT THIS DAY WOULD COME!!!!!!!!!!!! I’M SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😍” and “Im in teeaaaars!! I love you guys so much please go on tour 😭😭😭😭😭”

All No Doubt promised in their video tease was to “do a show” together, so there's little reason to suspect this reunion goes beyond the Coachella performance, but that didn't stop fans from wishing for it.

With crowd-pleasing original anthems like Spiderweb, Just A Girl, Simple Kind of Life, Hella Good, and Underneath It All, No Doubt carved out a unique niche in the alt pop music scene throughout their long run as a band. And with reunions of 90s bands all the rage lately, the timing of this one makes a lot of sense, with a perfect venue like the mega-popular Coachella Music Festival to boot.
