It's still unsure when Jamal Murray will plunge back into action. The Denver Nuggets star is still recuperating from an ACL injury that kept him out of the NBA Playoffs last season. But despite the long road to recovery, it's clear that he's maintained a sunny disposition.

With full basketball still out of reach for him, Murray has kept himself connected to the game. In fact, he's updated with the latest hoops news, including those related to pop culture. It has been reported that Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is one of the producers of Adam Sandler's latest movie Hustle, which is about an overseas basketball player. Of course, Murray is all for it.

Quite surprisingly, Boston Celtics forward Juancho Hernangomez, who Murray tagged in his tweet, will play the role of the overseas player discovered by Sandler. It's unclear if LeBron had any hand in casting like the way he did with Space Jam: A New Legacy, where he lured a bunch of his fellow NBA stars.

Of course, Sandler isn't also new to starring alongside an NBA player, having done it most recently with NBA legend Kevin Garnett in the highly acclaimed film Uncut Gems. It was praised by critics and Sandler even won several acting awards. Garnett, who portrayed himself, wasn't so bad as well. Safe to assume, Murray watched that as well.

It's still unclear when LeBron James' latest venture will be released. But maybe Jamal Murray can invite Nikola Jokic, Michael Porter Jr., and the rest of the Nuggets to have a viewing party.
