The Denver Nuggets lost their third straight NBA Playoff game to the Golden State Warriors on Thursday, falling into a deficit that just might be insurmountable. However, the loss was no fault of star center Nikola Jokic, who authored yet another dominant playoff performance, as he dropped 37 points with 18 rebounds. That performance earned Jokic a spot in the NBA history books, though it's not a record he's going to be particularly proud of. Here's the unfortunate record, as reported by Stats By Stats on Twitter.

Yikes. Jokic is the first player in NBA history to score 20+ points in seven straight playoff games- and lose all seven. On the one hand, it's nice to see that the playoff atmosphere isn't too big for the Nuggets star, though on the other hand, he can't seem to get his team over the hump no matter what he does.

The man already has six career playoff triple-doubles and a bevy of 30-point games. What more does Jokic have to do to get his Nuggets in the winning column in the NBA Playoffs?
To be fair to the Nuggets, they would normally have more firepower on their roster if it wasn't for injuries to Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. No one player can win alone, though Jokic is doing his best to try right now.
The Nuggets- and Jokic- are facing a harsh reality against the Warriors. The piece of history the star center just made might be even more harsh, however.
