The Denver Nuggets have offered three-time champion Dwyane Wade a two-tear deal worth more than $50 million, according to ESPN's Marc Stein. That's over $10 million more than the Miami Heat have on the table for the 34-year-old free agent.

While it is widely believed that Wade will remain in South Beach, nothing is truly guaranteed at this point in time. The original deal presented to Wade by the Heat was for two years, $20 million. Wade and his agent immediately began putting out feelers to other teams, as it became public that he was insulted by the Heat's offer.

Wade has canceled meetings with at least two other teams, but Denver has made themselves the best financial option for Wade. It remains to be seen if the Heat can exceed Denver's offer, or if Wade doesn't care for the extra money if it means staying with his longtime team. There's also the defending champion Cavaliers in the mix for the man known as “Flash”.

Wade averaged 19 points per game, 4.1 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game during the 2015-16 season.
