Head coach Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss football continue to control the college transfer portal. Kiffin has found the secret formula for acquiring transfers to Oxford, with his recent commitment coming from the Michigan Wolverines. The Rebels have landed an incredible athlete, Amorion Walker, who has experience at the collegiate level. Walker has two years of eligibility remaining (h/t Bruce Feldman of The Athletic).

Walker brings a 6'3″ 180-pound frame as a cornerback. He has all the physical tools to be an elite player in the secondary, boasting a 42-inch vertical, with 4.34 speed, per Bruce Feldman at The Athletic. He's a freak athlete who just needs to be put in the right scheme to succeed. Out of high school, Walker was a three-star recruit those the Wolverines over Notre Dame, Mississippi State, and LSU.

During the Wolervines' 2023 title run, Walker played in 66 defensive snaps, recording three tackles and one pass breakup. He was unable to see the field in Ann Arbor, but it seems like that won't be the case with the Rebels. Ole Miss football heads into the 2024 season thin at the cornerback position, so Walker could see the field early and potentially be viewed as a starter for Kiffin.

He takes his talents to a rising program with Kiffin in the SEC. Ole Miss football has the No. 1 transfer portal class in the country, adding to what's already viewed as a Top 10 team. With Nick Saban out of Alabama and a plethora of returning starters for the Rebels, this could be the year they make noise for the National Title.
