With news circulating that the Orlando Magic are looking to add a proven scorer through the trade market, one of their young players has emerged as a possible candidate to be moved.

Their second year shooting guard, Mario Hezonja, has been rumored to be the odd-man out of the Magic's roster and will be used as a trade bait to secure a scorer to their fold.

Hezonja was selected fifth overall in the 2015 draft after a promising stint with Spanish team Barcelona. He appeared in 79 games last season but was not able to play to his full potential and only averaged 6.1 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 17.9 minutes per game.

The Magic are struggling to get offense from their current lineup after giving up Victor Oladipo in the summer and with their leading scorer last season, Nikola Vucevic, competing for minutes in their crowded frontcourt.

Should the team be successful in obtaining the proven scorer they wish to add to their roster, it will be interesting how the team will fare this season as they plan to turn around their fortunes and make a strong push for a playoff spot.
