Top laner Jang “Nuguri” Ha-gwon will re-join his former team DAMWON Gaming Kia for the 2022 LCK Summer Split, according to a report by Korizon Esports.

Nuguri was put in the radar of the League of Legends professional play during his three-year stay with what was then DAMWON Gaming. He was a member of the organization from 2017 until 2020, during which Nuguri was the recipient of several regional titles and a World Championship in his last year. Afterwards, he switched over to the LPL to join FunPlus Phoenix, but was ultimately unprosperous. Nuguri then announced that he will be going on a sabbatical, with no return date revealed.

Nuguri's return to the LCK will surely be one to look forward to. DK, however, have two toplaners in Noh “Burdol” Tae-Yoon and Yoon “Hoya” Yong-ho, both of whose contracts with the organization end later this year. It is currently unknown what will happen to DK's current top laners should Nuguri re-join DK at this point.

DK's recent split have been quite underwhelming, with the team finishing third in the 2022 LCK Spring Split after losing to Gen.G. Considering Nuguri's prowess, he will be an obvious upgrade should he replace either of DK's current top laners.
