Overwatch 2 beta access keys are dropping as Twitch drops as the Overwatch 2 closed beta continues on this week.

Overwatch 2 closed beta will officially commence beginning April 26 and will end on May 17. If you missed out on receiving an invite, there is another way to grab that opportunity via Twitch drops.

Since March 10, Blizzard Entertainment gave players the opportunity to sign up for Overwatch 2 closed beta. By now, those who’ve signed up should be receiving their invites since the beta begins on April 26. Sad to say, not everyone will gain access to the beta especially those who haven’t signed up at all. However, thanks to a collaboration between Twitch and Blizzard, there may be another way.

Blizzard recently mentioned in their blog post another way players could gain access to the closed beta. “Players can participate in our Twitch Drops program to earn Beta access by watching specific Overwatch 2 PvP Beta streams under the Overwatch category during defined time windows.” With that being said, despite missing out on the first day, players can still participate throughout the beta’s duration. Getting to join in will make you no longer reliant on Overwatch 2 leaks for info about the game – you can just play and find out the changes yourself.

Blizzard asked 200 streamers to play Overwatch 2 on Twitch so viewers could watch early gameplay. Aside from that, all of these streamers are also participating in the Twitch drop program. That only means there are lots of chances for viewers to snag those beta codes. Notable streamers participating in this event are namely Pokimane, xQc, and Seagull. Other than these 3 popular streamers, viewers can also tune in to other streams mentioned in the blog post. Be sure to watch out for their upcoming live streams to get a chance to receive the closed beta Twitch drop. Don’t forget to connect your Battle.net account on Twitch to become eligible to receive Twitch drops.
