Indiana Pacers combo guard Tyreke Evans is reportedly expected to rejoin the team on Saturday when the Pacers face the Denver Nuggets in the Mile High City, according to Scott Agness of The Athletic.

Evan has been away from the team for personal reasons. The guard has missed the previous two games.

Indiana is set to start a four-game West Coast road trip on Saturday against the Nuggets. After facing Denver, the Pacers will take on the Portland Trail Blazers, LA Clippers and Golden State Warriors.

After defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday, the Pacers are 44-25 on the season, good for third place in the Eastern Conference standings.

Evans signed a one-year, $12 million free agent deal with the Pacers last summer. The former Rookie of the Year is averaging 9.9 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game this season while shooting 38.2 percent from the field, 35.1 percent from beyond the arc and 75.4 percent from the free-throw line.

It's encouraging to hear that Evans is doing well. Whenever a player is out due to personal reasons, you just have to hope he and his family are okay.

With Pacers star guard Victor Oladipo out for the season, Indiana needs all hands on deck, especially once the playoffs start.
