The Indiana Pacers are clearly in the middle of a rebuild. That became very obvious when they traded away All-Star forward Domantas Sabonis last month to the Sacramento Kings. In return, the Pacers landed three-point shooting specialist Buddy Hield and shockingly rising star Tyrese Haliburton.

Many were surprising the Kings were willing to part ways with Haliburton. After all, Haliburton averaged over 13 points, five rebounds and three assists in his rookie season last year. Sacramento is also a rebuilding franchise. So, Haliburton was seen as a key center piece to that rebuild, until he was included in the deal for Sabonis.

To no one's surprise, Haliburton has continued to improve. But on Wednesday night, he took his game to a whole new level.

Haliburton finished the game with 15 assists without committing a single turnover. No other player in the NBA this season has accomplished that feat. Maybe it's ironic that it also came against his former club, the Kings.

The Pacers young star finished with 13 points on 4-14 shooting from floor. That likely contributed to Haliburton looking to pass as his shot was not falling Wednesday.

Since he joined the Pacers, Haliburton's offensive game has increased dramatically. He is averaging more than three points per game more than he was with the Kings this season. He is also shooting the ball much more efficiently in Indiana. Haliburton is knocking down over 48 percent of his shots from the floor, opposed to only 45 in Sacramento.

The future looks bright for both Haliburton and the Pacers.
