Fresh off his monster triple-double, Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton revealed what triggered his second half outburst against the Boston Celtics: An inhaler.

“I was doing awful in the first half. I was getting attacked. Couldn't breathe, had to hit the inhaler at halftime,” the 23-year old guard said in a post-game interview.

It certainly worked for Haliburton on Monday night, as he led the Pacers to an upset win, eliminating the top-seeded Celtics from the In-Season Tournament. He finished with 26 points, 16 of which came in the second half, along with 13 assists and 10 rebounds.

Buddy Hield followed suit, adding 21 points while big man Myles Turner recorded a double-double of 17 points and 10 boards. Overall, seven players scored in double figures for the Pacers.

Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 32 points and 12 assists, while Jaylen Brown added 30 in the loss.

The Pacers await either New York or Milwaukee for their next game on Thursday.

Making his first All-Star appearance the previous year and getting a stint with Team USA in the most recent FIBA World Cup, Haliburton continues to develop, averaging a stellar 26.9 points and 11.9 assists this season. His ceiling only grows higher, and with a promising core surrounding him, Pacers fans are eager to see what their young team can achieve as the season progresses.

Tyrese Haliburton may need to keep his medication with him all the time though. After all, if inhalers equal triple-doubles, then he might as well puff away every chance he gets.
