Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones had a monstrous performance on Monday Night Football against the Minnesota Vikings. He was unstoppable and his big game helped propel the Packers to a big NFC North clinching win over their arch-rivals. Early in the game, however, things got off to a horrible start.

In the first quarter on the first drive of the game, Jones fumbled the football and gave the Vikings great field position. Anthony Barr had some words for Jones, telling him that “the lights are too bright, get off the field.” Jones had an excellent response to that smack talk, but he let his play give that response.

Joe Kipp of The Packers Wire shared the fact that Barr talked smack to Jones.

Jones ended up carrying the football 23 times for 154 yards and two touchdowns. He averaged 6.7 yards per carry. His role in the passing game wasn't big at all, catching just two passes for six yards.

His performance on the ground was too much for the Vikings to handle. Late in the game with the Packers looking to ice the win, Jones was able to do just that. He took a run to the left side of the field and ended up breaking it for 56 yards and a score.

Green Bay has officially clinched the NFC North and they have a chance to win the No. 1 seed in Week 17 for the NFC playoff picture. If they can knock off the Detroit Lions on the road, the Packers are guaranteed at least the No. 2 seed and a first-round bye.

The Packers are going to need this version of Jones in the playoffs. If they can run the ball even close to this effectively, opposing defenses are going to have a tough time stopping them.
