John Elway and Mike Shanahan were a dynamic duo for the Denver Broncos that won two Super Bowls together and the Green Bay Packers' Aaron Rodgers wants to replicate that success. Ahead of Sunday's NFC Championship Game, Rodgers says he's hoping to win more than two Super Bowls with Matt LaFleur.
At 36-years-old, it's uncertain how long Rodgers will continue to play in the NFL. However, when Elway won his two Super Bowls with the Broncos, he was 37 and 38-years-old. Therefore, the best could be yet to come for Green Bay's franchise quarterback.

Back in 1995, Shanahan became the head coach of the Broncos and he inherited Elway as his quarterback. In 1997 and 1998, Denver was able to win back-to-back Super Bowls before Elway retired after the 1998 season.
Packers One Win Away From Super Bowl LIV
As for Rodgers, this season is his first year with LaFleur and the two appear to be hitting it off. In their first season together, the Packers went 13-3 in the regular season and secured the No. 2 seed in the NFC.
With a victory over the Seattle Seahawks in the Divisional Round, Green Bay is just one game away from being in the Super Bowl. It would be Rodgers' first Super Bowl appearance since he won his first and only Super Bowl in 2010.
Before the Packers get into the Super Bowl, they will need to defeat Kyle Shanahan (Mike's son) and the San Francisco 49ers. Therefore, the connection between Shanahan/Elway and Rodgers/LaFleur is coming around full circle.
