If you find yourself furiously wondering where or what is going to happen with the trade rumors swirling around Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, you're not alone. Rodgers is wondering about that himself.

According to FOX Sports' Mark Schlereth (also a Denver Broncos insider after starring for them in the 90's), Rodgers reached out via text about a possible trade between Denver and Green Bay for his services.

Why Schlereth? Well, on Thursday night, he reported that this speculated trade was nearing completion. Rodgers asked about the dependability of his information, to which Schlereth responded:

“[I have a] very reliable source outside of Denver, someone who has never steered me wrong. Told me this thing is heating up and close to a done deal.”

Since the 2020 NFL Draft, Rodgers has been on the outs with the Packers front office; GM Brian Gutekunst in particular. At this point, it seems like there was going to be no going back after the Packers traded up in the draft just to select Rodgers' eventual replacement right before he posted a scorching MVP season in 2020.

Said Gutekunst about the infamous draft:

“There’s no doubt about it. The draft’s an interesting thing. It can kind of unfold differently than you think it’s going to unfold, and it happens pretty fast. But certainly, I think, looking back on it sitting where we sit today, there could have been some communication things we did better.”

Well, if last season is anything to go by, Rodgers still has a lot of incredible football in front of him with or without the Green Bay Packers. And if Schlereth is right, Broncos fans can rest easy about their team not taking a quarterback in this year's draft, because there's a chance bigger things are on the horizon in Denver.
