Allen Lazard was not a name that many would have thought of as the team's main X-Factor heading into the Green Bay Packers' Monday night matchup against the Detroit Lions. He has a lot of talent, but he hasn't had much of a role this season. In fact, he hadn't had a catch on the year heading into this game.

While he wasn't talked about as a factor for the Packers offense, Lazard ended up being one of the heroes of the game.

Davante Adams was unable to play once again due to turf toe and the Packers were having a hard time moving the football. Enter Lazard, who came in and caught four passes for 65 yards and a touchdown. Those numbers were not expected, but they were much needed.

Following his big game against the Lions, Pro Football Focus gave Lazard a massive grade.

Aaron Rodgers has made some glowing comments about Lazard following the game. He loved the confidence that he saw in his young wide receiver and the future is bright for him in Green Bay. Lazard may very well have carved out a bigger role for himself in the weeks ahead as well.

All of that being said, the Packers are now 5-1 after a big win over the Lions. They didn't make it look pretty, but they got the job done. Without Lazard on the field, they likely would not have been able to make the necessary plays in the fourth quarter to pull off the comeback.
