Colin Cowherd is a man known for his hot takes and his unashamed way of calling players out. That was the case once again on Friday morning following the Green Bay Packers' disheartening 27-24 loss to Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks. He had an opinion about Aaron Rodgers that simply isn't popular right now.

Most of the noise coming out of Green Bay following the loss to the Seahawks has been about the Packers potentially moving on from head coach Mike McCarthy. Cowherd wanted to make it clear just how bad Rodgers has been in the fourth quarter of the Packers' last two games against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots and Wilson and the Seahawks.

In a segment of his Fox Sports 1 show on Friday, Cowherd detailed Rodgers' struggles the last two games and put him on blast. He stated that this struggling time is not all on McCarthy.

Needless to say, the numbers put forward by Cowherd are not good. Rodgers has struggled to bring home wins in clutch situations over the past few weeks. Even though Rodgers has been relatively great once again this season, he has had his issues.

McCarthy is still at fault for a good portion of the problems, but Rodgers cannot be given a free pass either.

Throughout the 2018 NFL season thus far in 10 games, Rodgers has completed 61.8 percent of his pass attempts for 3,073 yards, 19 touchdowns, and just one interception. His interception number is impressive, but that does not mean that he has been great at closing games out like he usually has been.

Hopefully, the Packers can make a run down the stretch of the season. Unfortunately, the best they can do this season is 10-5-1. If they can get to that record, Rodgers and the Packers still do have a chance to make the NFC playoffs.
