In case you have lived under a rock for quite some time, Danica Patrick is dating Green Bay Packers' quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

So for her, Green Bay's loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship game was a little upsetting.

According to Michelle R. Martinelli of USA Today, Patrick says there were fans of the 49ers trying to console her.

Patrick says that fans were apologizing and telling her the game wasn't over yet when the Packers were down 27-0. They also told her Rodgers had the 49ers right where he wanted them.

Personally, that last one absolutely sounds like trash talk. It's like when you're losing by a ridiculous amount and say “I've got them right where I want them”. Obviously a joke, right?

So when someone says that about your team, it sounds like an insult personally.

In the end though, it doesn't really matter if that was trash talk or not. Patrick is a wildly successful person herself, including a career in racing. She seems to be in a very happy relationship with Rodgers as well.

It's unlikely she'll lose any sleep over what some fans said about her boyfriend's team.

Meanwhile, the Packers attempted a comeback, but were ultimately unsuccessful, narrowly missing the Super Bowl.

That means the 49ers will be meeting the Kansas City Chiefs in the biggest game of the year to crown new champions of the NFL.

Patrick also posted a picture on Instagram of Rodgers, congratulating him and the Packers on a strong season. She thinks there are still a lot of great things in the future for the team, and it's hard to argue with her if we're being honest.
