For those worried Green Bay Packers fans, Darnell Savage Jr. himself confirmed that he is doing fine after taking a hard hit during Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams.

Late in the fourth quarter of the Week 12 contest, the Vikings chose to do an onside kick in a desperate last-ditch effort to try to stage a comeback. As the Packers look to recover the ball, Savage got hit by linebacker Christian Rozeboom.

Below is the full video of the play, which many deem as a cheap shot and completely unnecessary given that the play is pretty much meaningless.

On Twitter, Darnell Savage Jr. confirmed that he is doing “good” despite the hit. There is still no update regarding his condition, especially since there is a likelihood of concussion.

For what it's worth, the Packers safety also took a shot at the Rams and Rozeboom, noting that the LB clearly prioritized hitting and hurting him instead of getting the ball.

“I guess hitting someone was more important than recovering the ball lmao,” Savage wrote.

The Packers won the game 36-28, with Aaron Rodgers praising his team for the tenacity they showed despite a fiery comeback attempt from the Rams. Nonetheless, the Green Bay fan base is certainly not happy with the blatant attempt to hurt and injure their very own player from the opponents.

Hopefully Savage didn't sustain any significant injury from the uncalled for hit.
