The restrictions placed by the league in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic have forced teams to take unprecedented action leading up to the 2020 NFL Draft. Regardless, this will not affect the Green Bay Packers approach.

The Packers still have a number of voids left to fill this offseason. General manager Brian Gutekunst plans to be aggressive, via Zach Kruse of the Packers Wire:

“We’ll be as aggressive as we need to be,” Gutekunst said. “I’d like to move around and get to the areas of the draft I think are strong.”

Gutekunst added that he is confident that the Packers have enough draft capital to make something happen.

“We’ve got enough ammunition to move around a little bit and do what we need to do,” Gutekunst said.

Gutekunst is certainly no stranger to taking an aggressive approach on draft day since being promoted in 2018. He started that year's draft by trading down from the No. 14 pick to the No. 27 pick before moving back up to the No. 18 spot to take cornerback Jaire Alexander.

Gutekunst followed it up in the 2019 NFL Draft by taking linebacker Rashaan Gary with the 12th overall pick. They then traded two fourth-round picks to move up and take safety Darnell Savage with the 21st overall pick.

The Packers certainly have plenty of draft capital to work with this time around with a total of 10 selections. Gutekunst could now be preparing for his most eventful draft yet from the confines of his own home in the coming week.
