Green Bay Packers cornerback Kevin King had high expectations coming into the league after being a second-round pick in the 2017 draft. He has dealt with a ton of injuries the first two years in the league playing a total of only 15 games and this could be a make or break year.

Maurice Moton of Bleacher Report released his list of players who have the hottest seats and for the Packers his choice was king.

Last year, the Packers selected Jaire Alexander and Josh Jackson in the first two rounds of the draft. Both showed promise by leading the team in pass breakups (11 and 10, respectively). Although Tramon Williams transitioned to safety, he could move back to his natural position at cornerback.

Alexander and Jackson both showed glimpses of solid NFL players which puts even more pressure on King to show why he deserves playing time. This probably isn't a question if King will be cut because he still has two years left on his deal, but there will be playing time to be lost.

If King struggles early or goes down with another injury, he could lose snaps to the 36-year-old Williams, a proven veteran, or Jackson, a 23-year-old cover man with the ability to line up in the slot or on the perimeter.

King has all the talent to be a solid NFL player but injuries are a real concern and if he can't stay on the field, it doesn't matter how much talent he has, he can't show it and the Packers might need to look at different options.
