The Green Bay Packers have a lot to figure out this offseason. Aaron Rodgers trade rumors are flying left and right. Along with this, Green Bay has some important parts of their roster up on the market, including wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling.

However, it sounds like the speedy receiver is sticking with the Packers, according to him. The Packers Wire writer Brandon Carwile tweeted what Valdes-Scantling said about his future Wednesday afternoon.

Carwile noted in another tweet that this information is directly from Valdes-Scantling, as he spoke to him directly. If what he said is true, the Packers will re-sign the wide receiver

The Packers selected Valdes-Scantling in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. According to Spotrac, he signed a 4 year, $2,677,553 contract. The deal included a $217,553 signing bonus, $217,553 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $669,388.

In his first four years in the league, Valdes-Scantling recorded 123 receptions for 2,153 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Valdes-Scantling suffered a back injury in the Packers' Week 18 season finale against the Detroit Lions. He was unavailable for their postseason game against the San Francisco 49ers because of the late-season injury.

This wasn't the first game the wide receiver missed this season. He missed five games from Week 4 to Week 8 after suffering a hamstring injury and being placed on short-term Injured Reserve.
