Aaron Rodgers was held out of the Green Bay Packers' second preseason game due to some tightness in his back. On Sunday, Matt LaFleur said that Rodgers would be day-to-day with his back injury.

LaFleur had set out a plan to get his franchise quarterback some playing time in the team's second exhibition game. Unfortunately, before the game, Rodgers experienced some pain in his back and was held out as a precaution.

The good news is that the injury doesn't seem to be serious and the rookie head coach said that Rodgers would be able to suit up if there was a game tomorrow. Luckily, there isn't a game tomorrow, and Green Bay will have some time for their longtime quarterback to recover from his injury.

With back injuries, as a team, you hope that the injury doesn't linger throughout the season. The last thing that LaFleur needs in his first season as the head coach is to have a serious injury to his talented signal-caller.

Last season, Rodgers provided the Packers fans with a scare as he exited their Week 1 contest against the Chicago Bears with a knee injury. Similarly to a professional wrestler, Rodgers came out of the tunnel to provide some energy to the crowd.

Rodgers returned to the game and led the Packers to a comeback win over the Bears. Despite the win, Rodgers would be affected by the knee injury. As a result, he was less mobile than he usually is and finished with 25 touchdowns and two interceptions.

Injuries have plagued the Packers gunslinger in the past two seasons. Packers fans are crossing their fingers that Rodgers' back injury doesn't balloon into something serious.
