Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers were in desperate need of a big win on Thursday night against the Seattle Seahawks. Unfortunately, the team ended up losing in heartbreaking fashion by a final score of 27-24. Green Bay now has a 4-5-1 record on the season and will need to win out to have a chance to make the playoffs.

Despite the loss, Rodgers was able to set an NFL record. He was able to become the first quarterback in the Super Bowl era to have 19 touchdowns and just one or zero interceptions and still have a losing record, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.

Having that record is not something that Rodgers is going to be very happy about. He has not been the same player as he has been in years past due to a knee injury that he suffered in Week 1 against the Chicago Bears. Even with that injury, Rodgers has been playing at an extremely high level.

Throughout the 10 games that he has played this season with the Packers, Rodgers has completed 61.8 percent of his pass attempts for 3,073 yards, 19 touchdowns, and one interception. Green Bay may not be a playoff team this season, but their quarterback has done everything in his power to get them there.

At 34 years old, Rodgers is heading into the latter stages of his prime. Many believe that he could play until he is 40, but frustration is beginning to set in.

Green Bay has had quite possibly the best quarterback to ever play in the NFL for years and has only won one Super Bowl. That has been a major concern for fans and media members alike.

All of that being said, congratulations go out to Rodgers for the 19-to-1 touchdown to interception ratio. That number may not mean a whole lot in the middle of a frustrating season, but it is still an impressive feat.
