The Green Bay Packers are set for a huge matchup with the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night in a game that could have major playoff implications. Randall Cobb has been dealing with injury issues almost all season and will miss yet another game this week against Seattle.

According to a report from Adam Schefter of ESPN, Cobb will miss the game along with three other players. Green Bay has also ruled Nick Perry, Kentrell Brice, and Kevin King out with injuries.

Cobb has been a major key to the Packers offense when he has been healthy. Unfortunately, he has only been able to play in five games this year. In those five games, Cobb has caught 26 passes for 258 yards and a touchdown.

At 28 years old, Cobb is heading for free agency this coming offseason. Green Bay may not be willing to pay him much to bring him back. He was reportedly considered a candidate to be released last offseason to free up more money, but Jordy Nelson ended up being the casualty.

Green Bay has been very encouraging with the development of their rookie wide receivers. Both Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Equanimeous St. Brown have shown flashes of being very good targets for Aaron Rodgers.

Davante Adams has also developed to the point of being one of the best wide receivers in the NFL.

All of that being said, the Packers are in major need of a win this week. If they can win one on the road, the Packers would improve to 5-4-1 on the season and take a big step forward in the NFC playoff race.

Expect to see both teams leave everything they have on the field. Green Bay will have to win without a few of their key players and Cobb missing the game gives the Seahawks' defense a bit of an easier task.
