Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams is going through the concussion protocol for the second time this season after suffering a hit to the head during Sunday's 31-24 loss to the Carolina Panthers.
Following Wednesday's practice, fellow wideout Randall Cobb discussed Adams' strong frustration with how this season has unfolded, per Rob Demovsky of ESPN.
“He’s very frustrated,” Cobb said. “It sucks. It sucks to be in that position. But that’s where he is, and his health is most important right now.”
Adams has already demonstrated his disappointment with the blindside hit that he took from Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis, whose two-game ban was reduced to one game yesterday.
He posted a series of tweets stating that Davis was “headhunting” while voicing that there's no room in the NFL for those types of actions to take place.
I’ll never understand it. Game is already dangerous enough and we got Pro Bowl players out here head hunting and saying they “didn’t mean to harm me”

Look it’s football but no room for shit like that. We supposed to be in this together n look out for one another not mess with a mans livelihood and hand out unnecessary concussions. We all got mouths to feed what if I did that to him and his kids cant eat…

The 24-year-old is now going through another extensive concussion protocol due to this being his second concussion in a three-month span. On top of that, he is in line to become a free agent next offseason and will likely be one of the most sought out players at his position.
Adams could still play on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings if he is able to progress through the concussion protocol by Friday.
