It wasn't that long ago when Luke Kuechly was terrorizing opposing offenses in the NFL. After having a solid career with the Carolina Panthers, he opted for retirement after struggling with head injuries. However, it sounds like the former great linebacker is ready to make a comeback… kind of.

According to Field Yates, Kuechly will be joining the Panthers' radio broadcast team for the 2022 season. After spending a year working with the scouting department, the seven-time Pro Bowler will make the transition to media this year. Maybe Greg Olsen inspired Luke Kuechly to get into calling games? If he's good at it, then he might just have a new career for the long haul.

It's awesome to see a guy like Kuechly find a new career path after retiring from the NFL. Although he played great during his tenure, the number of head injuries he sustained was alarming. Now, he joins the Panthers radio broadcast team where he can provide valuable knowledge on the game and the current roster. If he's anything like Olsen, then Carolina's broadcast team just made a massive improvement!
