Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton started off the game with a bang as he was able to rush into the end zone for an early touchdown against the Atlanta Falcons. With this touchdown, the Panthers legend has as many rushing touchdowns(74) as NFL icon Earl Campbell.

Newton has been doing things like this his whole career which is why it was so questionable why no team decided to sign him until more than halfway through the season. Even in New England last year, he wasn't great, but he still helped the Patriots be a .500 team. Ever since joining the Panthers, they have been a better football team even though they have not had their star running back Christian McCaffrey for almost every game that Cam has played this season.

Carolina isn't having a great year by any means as they are 5-7 on the season, but they are still in second place of the NFC South. If they want to make the playoffs, they're going to have to win all of their last five games and hope that they can get a wild-card spot because the Tampa Bay Buccaneers do not look like they're going to lose any time soon.

This is a very winnable game for the Panthers as they take on the Falcons who have struggled mightily all season long. Expect Cam Newton and the Panthers to be able to get a win in front of their home crowd on Sunday.
