Jim Gray doesn't think that the New England Patriots quarterback knows what his NFL future holds for him. Gray is best known for being Tom Brady's weekly interviewer on Westwood One Radio. So in other words, Gray knows a thing or two about Brady's thought process.

Barring an unforeseen change of circumstances, Brady will be an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his legendary NFL career. Speaking with Justin Terranova of the New York Post, Gray stated that Brady hasn't decided what he's going to do in the future.

He doesn’t know. When he doesn’t know I am not sure how any of us can know,” Gray told Terranova when asked how he’s approached questions about Brady’s free agency. “How many times can you ask the same question? As it evolves he will let us know. It’s not like he’s hiding something. I’ve asked him and he’s committed several times on the air to us that he’s playing next season. There’s not much he can be involved with outside the Patriots till March 18.”

While the Patriots are the odds-on favorites to be Brady's team in 2020, his future is uncertain. There has been speculation for months about the 42-year-old leaving for a number of reasons, including escaping Bill Belichick, chasing money, going back home to California or looking for a team that will be more competitive in 2020.

As of now, speculation is just that: speculation. Brady has been mum on the matter since the Patriots' wild card loss to the Tennessee Titans. Expect it to stay that way until he decides where he will play football in 2020 and beyond.
