Although New England Patriots fans did not get to see two of their superstars in quarterback Tom Brady and tight end Rob Gronkowski for the first day of team OTAs on Monday, they still got to see something worth getting very exciting about with another one of their standout players on offense.
Pats star wide receiver Julian Edelman posted a very encouraging picture of himself in action during OTAs that showed him participating with his teammates.
“Great to be back out there with the guys,” Edelman said. “One day at a time.”

It sure seems like Edelman has had a very successful road to recovery following his devastating ACL tear during Week 3 of the 2017 NFL preseason in a road game against the Detroit Lions.
The two-time Super Bowl champion was surely missed by New England back in early February for the 41-33 Super Bowl LII loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, a game in which former Patriots star wide receiver Brandin Cooks had to leave early because of a concussion.
Back in the Patriots' 2016-17 regular season campaign, Edelman set a career high in receiving yards for a single season with 1,106 yards, 98 catches, and three touchdown catches.
During the playoffs, which resulted in an epic 34-28 comeback victory over the Atlanta Falcons in overtime of Super Bowl LI, Edelman was a stud in New England's three postseason games with 21 catches for 342 yards and one touchdown reception.
After both Cooks and Danny Amendola both left in free agency this offseason, the Patriots will be hoping the 32-year-old can get back to his best and return to being Brady's reliable No. 1 receiver this season.
