What many people prophesied came to fruition Sunday, as news that Tom Brady is coming out of retirement to play football once again. Brady took to twitter to express his thoughts, shocking the NFL world in the process.

Reactions from athletes and celebrities alike have been shared all over social media. But Brady's former wide receiver Julian Edelman might have just topped the list. Edelman posted a moment from the famous television show “The Office” and arguably one of the funniest moments in the historic show.

Edelman references the episode where the show's protagonist, Michael Scott, acknowledges his decision to have a vasectomy, and then to also have the vasectomy reversed. Only to then have another vasectomy, with the famous quote “snip, snap…snip, snap.”

That is probably how the Tom Brady retirement drama has felt for many of the last couple of months. Prior to Brady's official announcement of his retirement, news had leaked that that was what he was planning on doing. Brady's camp then negated those reports, saying they were premature and Brady had still not made up his mind on retirement.

Shortly thereafter, Brady announced himself that he was leaving the game he loved.

Yet, here we are less than two months later, and Brady is back. He is under contract for one more year with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and as he himself posted on social media, there is unfinished business. The Buccaneers were eliminated from the playoffs at home to the eventual Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams.

Brady helped fuel a 28-3 comeback to tie the game with about a minute remaining. Only to watch Rams QB Matthew Stafford engineer a game-winning drive.
