Are you one who, from time-to-time, raises an eyebrow when thinking about Tom Brady's greatness at this late stage in his life (in NFL years, of course)?

If so, it may be time to stop as, according to Tom E. Curran of NBC Sports Boston, the New England Patriots actually test players for PED use independently of the NFL.

“The Patriots recently began independently testing supplements their players ingest to ensure there are no mistakes. It’s a logical, proactive approach. The supplements Brady and Guerrero market at TB12 Sports Therapy have been tested.”

Curran's information is based on a conversation he had with everybody's favorite trainer, Alex Guerrero. In fact, in 2015, Curran spoke with Guerrero while pressing him on the topic of Brady's greatness at this stage of his NFL career. The man whom Bill Belichick wanted out of the building, of course, denies any wrongdoing out of the Brady camp.

“You know me better than that,” said Guerrero. “That’s not what I’m about and that’s not what Tommy’s about. No.”

Pats players have been suspended for PED use over the course of recent memory, one of which included safety Rodney Harrison circa 2007.

The Pats tougher testing regiment became reality after the 2012 season that saw two players, running back Brandon Bolden and linebacker Rob Ninkovich. suspended four games for violating the league's performance-enhancing drug policy, according to Doug Kyed of NESN.

No matter the season, age or situation, Brady's dominance continues to roll on. This past season, Tom Terrific led the league with 4,577 yards while throwing 32 touchdowns to just eight interceptions in leading his squad to the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

Brady and the Pats are currently preparing for their eighth Super Bowl in the Belichick era. As an organization, it'll be their record-breaking 10th trip to the big game.
