In an unfortunate turn of events for N'keal Harry and the New England Patriots on Monday night, a Buffalo Bills punt that was almost downed inside the ten-yard line instead took a crazy bounce and ended up grazing the helmet of the oblivious punt-returner, Harry. It was a tough moment for the second-year wideout–who was infamously drafted over D.K Metcalf, among others–in a season that has been equally as tough. For the season, Harry only has ten catches for 117 scoreless yards in limited playing time behind Jacobi Meyers, Kendrick Bourne, and Nelson Agholar. Harry's biggest contributions on the year are his blocking and his limited special teams work. It's safe to say, after tonight, that his work in that department will stay limited.

Harry may be having a rough year but that was not spared of any admonishing in the Twitter world, as figures from around the NFL and sporting world, in general, began to chime in on his misfortune. Here are a few of the highlights:

The hilarity definitely took a little bit of the sting off of the moment for Patriots fans, but not very much. In the end, it was a victory over the Bills that made Harry's gaffe slightly forgivable. While early on in the AFC East matchup, it may have seemed that Harry would be a huge storyline after the game, the real tale of this game ended up being that the Patriots won a football game in 2021 in which they ran the ball 46 times and passed it only three.
