The New Orleans Pelicans are still lauding over their huge 123-95 win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday night. So much so, that the Pelicans’ official Twitter account decided to change their Twitter bio to reflect their 28-point blowout win over LeBron James and the Lakers.
A random LA fan decided to call out the Pelicans for their social media savagery but unfortunately for him, this dude got absolutely burned by an epic clap back from the Pels:
Tom, your team disappointed you so you are taking your anger out on us. That's fine if it helps you.
Just know it's not your fault. Positive vibes your way bro

There’s probably some cold water lying around there somewhere and this Tom guy will want to pour some of that over his massive burn.
To be fair to the Pelicans, they were absolutely right about the Lakers failing their fans on Sunday. LA was nothing short of embarrassing against New Orleans and this was compounded by the fact that they were playing in their own stadium.
The home crowd inside Crypto.com Arena were clearly unhappy with their team’s performance and they weren’t shy about letting their feelings known. Not even LeBron James himself was spared by the fans as The King was on the receiving end of some boos after an ugly turnover.
For their part, the Pelicans have now won back-to-back wins since the break. After taking down the league-best Phoenix Suns by 15 points on Friday, New Orleans followed it up with a demolition job of the Lakers two nights later. Don’t look now but the Pels are starting to make some noise.
