New Orleans Pelicans guard Lonzo Ball is a restricted free agent this offseason, and as his agent Rich Paul said it, they will be exploring the free agent market in search of the best deal.

While it is not a surprising statement from the Klutch Sports founder and NBA super agent, it basically sends one message to the rest of the NBA, the Pelicans and all other interested teams: the best bidder wins Zo.

“We’re open-minded. In free agency, we all understand what that is in this landscape of business. He's a really good young player with the ability to become a great player. And so I think there's a lot of interests there. We're open-minded. The phone lines will definitely be open come free agency. At the end of the day, we'll look to make the best deal,” Paul said when asked about what he and Lonzo Ball ultimately want in free agency, per Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.

True enough, Lonzo Ball have already garnered several interests in the free agency market–that is if rumors are to be believed. According to reports, the likes of the Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, Chicago Bulls and New York Knicks have been linked with the eldest of the Ball siblings.

Moreover, it is worth noting that the Pelicans are said to be not too keen on matching a big offer sheet to Lonzo.

While Rich Paul emphasized that they are keeping an open mind in free agency, including a potential return to Pelicans, it looks like Zo could be on his way out of New Orleans.
