Over the past couple of days, fans have debated whether or not former MVP Derrick Rose should be in the Hall of Fame. Veteran shooting guard Jamal Crawford has decided to give his take on the matter, saying that the new Detroit Pistons guard is easily a Hall of Famer.

In his first four years in the league, Rose earned the reputation as one of the best players in the NBA. His athleticism and quickness were in a completely different level, and he has caused opposing teams a ton of problems. It's no wonder why he became the youngest NBA MVP in history in 2011.

Unfortunately, Rose has been riddled with knee injuries for the majority of his career, preventing him from reaching his full potential. Had he stayed healthy, it's likely he would've won a championship already.

Despite all the setbacks, Rose kept coming back — even when he thought that he could no longer play due to the number of injuries he suffered.

Now, after a strong 2018-19 season with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Rose looks to keep his momentum going with the Pistons. He signed a two-year deal with the team this offseason, pairing him with the All-Star frontcourt of Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond.

There are a lot of ‘What Ifs' about Rose's career, but the veteran guard no longer wants to deal with the past. For him, he just wants to finish his career on a good note. He might not have achieved enough to be an automatic Hall of Famer, but for the people close to him, he is undoubtedly worthy of the recognition.
