Detroit Pistons combo guard Langston Galloway caught fire on Sunday night, as he logged a record-breaking 66-point performance in Jamal Crawford's “The Crawsover” summer league.

This was no ordinary feat from the 6-foot-2 guard, as he broke the record earlier set by the tournament's founder himself, Jamal Crawford.

Galloway was absolutely balling in this one, and it was just one of those nights where he could not miss. Hopefully, this offensive firepower carries over to the coming season for the 27-year-old.

Last season, Galloway averaged 8.4 points, 2.1 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 0.5 steals in 21.8 minutes per contest. The incoming sixth-year man also drained 1.7 three-pointers per contest on a 35.5 percent clip, making him a dangerous marksman for the Pistons.

Galloway will be entering a contract year, with his current deal expiring at the end of the coming season. He obviously knows what's at stake, and if his pre-season form is any indication of things to come, then Galloway might just be able to successfully up his stock for when he enters free agency next summer.

It's a different case for Crawford, though, who up until today remains to be an unrestricted free agent. There are a lot of teams that have shown some indication of their interest in the 39-year-old, but no firm offer has yet to be put on the table.

Nonetheless, the three-time Sixth Man of the Year winner believes that he still has a lot to offer, and he is confident that he will able to sign with his new team before the start of the new season.
