The Detroit Pistons host the Miami Heat Monday evening at Little Caesars Arena and are likely going to be without the services of shooting guard Reggie Bullock.

Bullock was downgraded to doubtful at the morning shootaround by Pistons head coach Dwane Casey. The 27-year-old is dealing with a left ankle sprain.

Reggie Bullock has started six games for the Pistons this season. He is averaging 10.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists while shooting 32.8 percent from the field, 25.0 percent from beyond the arc and 86.7 percent from the free-throw line.

Bullock signed a multi-year contract with Detroit in July of 2017.

The Pistons enter Monday with a record of 4-4.Stanley Johnson and Bruce Brown will likely fill in for Bullock against the Heat. Johnson is averaging 7.1 points per game on the year while Brown is putting up 4.2.

Detroit started the season 4-0, but have lost four-straight since. The team is looking to get back on the right path versus a Heat team which has a record of 3-5. Miami is in a rough spot this season. Hassan Whiteside has been battling injuries, Dwyane Wade is in his final season and the team lacks a dynamic go-to scorer. They're struggling to find their identity this season, and the Pistons should take advantage of that. Detroit doesn't know when Reggie Bullock will be back, but they're sure about a few other things.

One thing the Pistons know is that they have the kind of post players that can dominate most teams in the NBA. Even without  Bullock, they'll be able to push the pace with their speedy guards.
