Blake Griffin had a career game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night, and his Detroit Pistons teammate Zaza Pachulia thinks he's the reason for the All-Star's outburst.

Griffin recorded a career-high 50 points and 14 rebounds to help the Pistons take down the Sixers in overtime, 133-132. Even more remarkable, the 29-year-old forward banked the game-winning and-1 layup.

The five-time All-Star also became the only Pistons player since Isiah Thomas to score 40-plus points and grab 10 or more boards in a game.

Zaza Pachulia, who joined the Pistons this summer, congratulated Blake for the incredible feat. However, he also took the chance to hoard the spotlight for himself and hilariously claimed that Griffin was only able to do it because they are now teammates.

Technically speaking, Pachulia isn't wrong. After all, Griffin also played with the likes of Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan during his time with the L.A. Clippers.

Not to mention that Blake Griffin already featured for the Pistons last year and he still wasn't able to reach the statistical mark — not even close.

However, the jokes on Pachulia this time. Griffin has already admitted that the criticisms he has received over the years fueled him to further improve his game. So unless Pachulia told Griffin something before the game — maybe about him being a two-time NBA champion and Griffin ring-less — we're sticking on Blake on this one.
