The Detroit Pistons have signed 7-foot-6 undrafted center Mamadou N'Diaye to a contract, according to a report by ESPN's Marc J. Spears. The details of the contract were not disclosed.N'Diaye, a 300-pound big man, is coming off three years at UC Irvine, a place where he averaged 12.1 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks during his junior season.

The 23-year-old had previously joined the Golden State Warriors‘ Summer League roster back in July, but went scoreless in three appearances with the team.

The Senegalese international stands as the tallest player in the league, but has a very unrefined game for the pros. N'Diaye will likely have to be brought along slowly by the coaching staff before he can make an impact in the NBA.

Here's a tape of his college highlights as an Anteater.
