Detroit Pistons All-Star Blake Griffin isn’t just all about dunking, and he showed that to every basketball fan with an impressive move against the Atlanta Hawks.

Griffin was double teamed by Hawks’ rookies Kevin Huerter and Omari Spellman midway in the third quarter of the game. Instead of passing the ball, however, he fooled the two defenders with a fake spin move and completed the play with an acrobatic shot after Dewayne Dedmon tried to block him.

Interestingly, that was only Griffin’s sixth point of the game as he struggled to find his shooting touch. He came into the match averaging 27.3 points, so it was unusual for him especially against the 3-8 Hawks.

The 29-year-old forward eventually finished the game on 2-of-10 shooting, though he did have nine rebounds and nine assists.

The good news for the Pistons, though, is they didn’t really need Griffin offensively in the game. They took down the Hawks 124-109, thanks to big performances from Andre Drummond and Stanley Johnson.

Griffin would rue the fact that he wasn’t able to contribute that much on the offensive end, but at least he still got a share of the spotlight with that incredible move that shows he isn’t just a one-trick pony.
