It is not a lie: both Portal and Portal 2 warps onto the Nintendo Switch this year as a bundle called Portal: Companion Collection. Long time fans of these games will be GLaD to know that they can now bend physics on the go.

In a Nintendo Direct live stream, a reveal accompanied by a voice-over of GLaDOS was featured. Check it out here:

In Portal, you are equipped with a “portal gun” to solve puzzles and traverse a series of tests seemingly administered by an eerie mechanical voice that calls itself GLaDOS. Portal 2 builds upon these mechanics, and allows you to solve puzzles with your friends.

Portal, developed and published by Valve, was initially released in 2007. Its puzzle and platforming elements combined with the mind-boggling mechanics of the Portal gun gave birth to a very dedicated community. Portal was very well-received, and despite its short play duration, people kept clocking in hundreds of hours on Portal. Its sequel Portal 2 was released in 2011, adding a cooperative multiplayer mode and expanding on gameplay mechanics. Since release, Portal has been ported on numerous platforms.

Bend the rules of physics when Portal: Companion Collection becomes available on the Nintendo Switch this year.
