PSG star Kylian Mbappe has received one of the most lucrative offers in football history. But as things stand, it's not enough to persuade him.

It was recently revealed that Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal made a historic €300 million ($332 million) offer to PSG for the disgruntled France star.

PSG confirmed the offer and gave the Saudi club to permission to negotiate with Mbappe.

According to reports, Al Hilal is offering the forward a one-year contract with a €700 million salary which translates to €13.4 million per week.

Additionally, the contract being one-year long would allow Mbappe to leave in the summer of 2024 to join La Liga giants Real Madrid on a free transfer where he will potentially receive a €100 million sign-on fee.

But despite being offered a contract that will make him even wealthier than he already is, Mbappe is said to not be interested in the offer according to ESPN sources.

So what does this exactly mean?

Either PSG will need to accept an offer from another club that Mbappe is interested in, they'll have to play him and risk losing him for free next year or they'll have to bench him and risk losing him for free next year.

Kylian Mbappe recently revealed he would not be extending his contract with a 12-month extension and planned to walk away as a free agent next year.

PSG subsequently cut Mbappe from their preseaon tour of Japan on Saturday with the Ligue 1 champions determined to find a new team for him if he can't be convinced to sign a new contract.

As of now, Al Hilal will not be that new team.
