The Las Vegas Raiders are entering a new era under head coach Antonio Pierce. Last season's interim head coach made quite the impact on the team and fans, earning him a contract this offseason. There's no doubt that the Raiders will look much different than they did under Josh McDaniels.

Pierce and new general manager Tom Telesco have been hard at work reshaping the roster. Las Vegas added a handful of solid offensive players during free agency, as well as star defensive tackle Christian Wilkins. They also added more firepower in the 2024 NFL Draft with first-round tight end Brock Bowers and versatile interior lineman Jackson Powers-Johnson. Both should be immediate starters.

The roster is already looking better in Las Vegas, but it is far from a finished product. There is still a question mark at QB, with second-year player Aidan O'Connell duking it out with veteran Gardner Minshew for the starting job.

There are also a number of holes within the team's depth on both sides of the ball. If the Raiders want to compete in the AFC this season, they should consider plugging these holes via free agency or trade.

Let's explore three potential trade candidates for the Las Vegas Raiders that would help them complete their 2024 roster.

Kelvin Beachum – T – Arizona Cardinals

The offensive line has already been a huge priority for Las Vegas. Aside from adding Jackson Powers-Johnson, the Raiders have added veterans like Cody Whitehair and Andrus Peat on one-year deals. These are solid players, but they could use one more body to feel secure about their offensive line depth.

Adding a right tackle like Kelvin Beachum would be an excellent move. Beachum has been a solid starter for the Cardinals over the past few seasons and would be someone who could start in a pinch for Las Vegas. His veteran leadership could be a huge benefit for the development of rookie tackle Delmar Glaze.

Beachum is in the final year of his contract and is currently behind Jonah Williams on the depth chart in Arizona. The Cardinals could be eager to get rid of Beachum's contract and get something in return via trade.

Beachum would be an excellent addition for the Raiders, assuming his price tag isn't very high.

Joe Tryon-Shoyinka – EDGE – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Joe Tryon-Shoyinka has not lived up to his billing as a first-round pick over his first two seasons in the NFL.

Tryon-Shoyinka has two years left on his rookie contract, as well as a fifth-year option. While the Buccaneers have not completely given up on Tryon-Shoyinka, they did spent a high draft pick on Chris Braswell in the 2024 NFL Draft.

You may be wondering why the Raiders would want to add another EDGE when they already have superstar Maxx Crosby. Last year's first-round pick Tyree Wilson has been used on the interior of the defensive line before, and it is possible that this becomes his permanent role. That would leave Las Vegas with no known commodities behind Crosby and Malcolm Koonce.

Tryon-Shoyinka could fit the bill nicely as a young player with upside who could provide depth at defensive end. He would make a great addition on third downs as a pass rusher at the bare minimum.

As with all of these possible moves, the price needs to be right. However, Tryon-Shoyinka could cost a decent amount considering how many years he still has on his contract and his first-round pedigree.

Caleb Farley – CB – Tennessee Titans

Caleb Farley has suffered from multiple injuries throughout his short NFL career. The Tennessee Titans drafted Farley in the first round back in 2021 and have seen little return from him.

The Titans have declined Farley's fifth-year option, signaling that Tennessee is not interested in him moving forward. This makes even more sense when you consider that Titans new head coach Brian Callahan did not draft him.

Tennessee is already set at cornerback, so they can easily part ways with Caleb Farley. He is behind L'Jarius Sneed, Chidobe Awuzie, Roger McCreary, and Trey Avery on the depth chart.

Farley would likely be a cheap acquisition and could end up costing nothing at all if the Raiders get clever with trade terms.

Farley would offer the same reclamation project proposition that Jack Jones did last year. If nothing else, adding Farley for cornerback depth could be a solid move.
