It's been a wild couple of weeks for the Las Vegas Raiders, but the team is getting the job done regardless. They entered this matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles without Darren Waller and a new coaching system after the Jon Gruden debacle. However, Josh Jacobs fell to injury early as well, creating a potential issue for the Raiders.

According to Field Yates, Josh Jacobs was ruled out and will not return to the game. It's been a rocky start to the season for Jacobs, as he's missed several games already. Another injury to the young running back doesn't bode well for the Raiders' chances this year.

Although that's true, Las Vegas has been able to handle business. The offense is rolling on all cylinders and Derek Carr has put on a strong performance. It's rather impressive considering the franchise has multiple reasons to fold over. Instead, the Raiders have been resilient in the eyes of adversity and continue playing at a high level.

Hopefully, the injury Josh Jacobs suffered isn't serious. Although Las Vegas has found a way to remain on top against the Eagles, this franchise still needs their star running back in the backfield. The addition of Kenyan Drake looks to be a smart move by the front office, as he'll be receiving an expanded role if Jacobs is forced to miss time again.

Keep an eye on this Raiders team, as they've put themselves at the top of the AFC West. If they continue playing like this, the Raiders will find themselves in the postseason. They have stiff competition though, as the Los Angeles Chargers have looked phenomenal in their own right.

For that reason, the Raiders need to have a healthy roster if they hope to beat out the Chargers. Look out for news surfacing about Josh Jacobs, as we'll find out more information before Week 8.
