For the past few months, Antonio Brown has made headlines for his off the field antics rather than on the field. The All-Pro wide receiver was traded to the Oakland Raiders from the Pittsburgh Steelers after a fallout with the organization.

Recently, ESPN ran an article where they asked a bunch of NFL players who their favorite players were growing up. Of course, to no one's surprise, Brown said that he looked up to Deion Sanders when he was a kid.

“Probably Deion Sanders. He brought a lot of passion and energy and excitement for me watching the game. You know he had a lot of fun, made a lot of big plays, that got everyone excited, and he always had the swagger and the charisma to go with it.”

Brown is one of the most talented receivers in the NFL while Sanders is arguably the greatest cornerback to ever step foot on a football field. Their similarities come in the form of their moxie and charisma that they play/played with. Both players are elite at their positions and play with a level of swagger that is unmatched by their peers.

We've seen other wide receivers like Terrell Owens or Randy Moss be so-called “divas” by the media as Brown has. Nonetheless, all three of those guys are great in every aspect of being a wide receiver. Sometimes, personalities can come with talented players but teams have to be able to learn how to handle them.

The Steelers had a tough time corraling the receiver and the Raiders will get their crack at it in 2019.
